Air preheating is used whenever a fired plant, such as a furnace or a heater, releases exhaust gas heat as waste heat at a usable temperature level. This lost heat is used to preheat the combustion air to maximise the efficiency of the overall plant. Another point is the high degree of utilisation as the recovered heat can usually be completely returned to the process.

Air preheater in the LV series are used as class combustion air preheaters, crude gas preheaters, drying air preheaters or similar process engineering applications. HTT has standard sizes of air preheaters, perfectly tailored for our thermal oil heaters. We also implement horizontal or vertical designs on request.
